FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Plain answers on subsidy, timelines, warranties and panels for homes and businesses in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

How much subsidy will I get?

₹30,000 for 1 kW, ₹60,000 for 2 kW and ₹78,000 for 3 kW and above. Apartment societies get ₹18,000 per kW for common facilities.

The subsidy is credited directly to your bank account by the government after the DISCOM inspects and approves your system. It is not paid to the installer.

For a standard rooftop, we complete installation within 10 days of order booking, and we meet that for more than 95% of our installations. Elevated structures or unusual roofs can take a few days more. DISCOM inspection, net-meter fitting and subsidy release then depend on your DISCOM; we follow up at every stage.

A correctly sized system can cover most of your consumption. Fixed and customer charges on the bill still apply under net metering.

On-grid systems switch off automatically during a grid outage. This is a safety requirement (anti-islanding) that protects linemen working on the lines. Battery backup can be added separately.

We use anchoring methods suited to your roof type and seal every fixing point. The structure is designed for your area’s wind speed.

Yes. Low-interest bank loans are available under PM Surya Ghar for home rooftop systems. We help you apply through the national portal.

Regular cleaning of the panels with water, and periodic checks. Any fault caused by our installation is covered by our 5-year workmanship warranty. Annual maintenance contracts are available on request.

Panels carry a 12-year product warranty and a 25–30 year performance warranty from the manufacturer, depending on the brand. Inverters carry a 5–7 year manufacturer warranty, depending on the brand. Lumisun gives a 10-year warranty on the mounting structure and a 5-year workmanship warranty on the installation.

PM Surya Ghar only gives subsidy for systems using Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) panels made with Indian cells. We install only DCR panels.

Both are assembled in India and listed on MNRE’s ALMM. DCR panels also use solar cells made in India; non-DCR panels use imported cells and cost less. Homes need DCR panels to get the PM Surya Ghar subsidy. Businesses can use either, but non-DCR panels are allowed on net metering only for projects commissioned by 31 December 2026.

The company started in 2026, but our team has carried out 2,000+ rooftop installations and built 30+ MW of solar in previous roles. In the last month alone we installed systems in nine towns and cities across both states. We are happy to share references and visit a recent site with you.

Yes. We are a registered PM Surya Ghar vendor in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, and installed systems in Vijayawada, Eluru, Dwaraka Tirumala, Kakinada and Pithapuram in the last month.
