PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana is the Government of India scheme that pays part of the cost of rooftop solar for homes. Here’s what you get, who is eligible and how the process works with your DISCOM.

We register you on pmsuryaghar.gov.in with your electricity connection details and choose Lumisun as your vendor.
Your DISCOM checks that the local transformer can take the solar connection. In Andhra Pradesh this check is waived for systems up to 10 kW.
We sign the MNRE model agreement with you and complete installation within 10 days of order booking.
We submit the completion report. The DISCOM inspects the system and fits the bi-directional net meter.
After the commissioning report is uploaded, the subsidy is released to your bank account. We track it until it arrives.
Low-interest bank loans are available under the scheme for home rooftop systems. We help you apply through the portal along with your subsidy application.
